Two members of Britain's Queen Elizabeth's staff are members of the British National Party (BNP), it has been claimed.
Buckingham Palace storeman Paul Murray and a retired royal porter were included on a list of supposed members of the controversial political group - whose views are widely criticised as racist and homophobic - which was leaked online earlier this week.
Paul, whose wife Jennifer is also on the list, is identified as living at the Royal Mews, Buckingham Palace on the document, but it is believed the couple have since moved.
A royal source played down his inclusion, claiming: "Although his name is on the list he has told us it is only on there because he was invited to a social event that he did not attend."
The couple were unavailable for comment
A Buckingham Palace spokesperson said the Murray will not lose his job.
The couple were unavailable for comment.
The retired porter, who cannot be indentified, was exposed as an "activist" for the BNP.
