Britain's Prince Charles has launched a campaign aimed at getting schoolchildren involved with saving the rainforests.
The prince - a long-time environmental campaigner - is urging teachers and pupils to take action to save the habitats of thousands of creatures and plants, which are being destroyed at a rate of over 15 million acres a year.
He said: "We need to do something about this - and urgently.
"If we can do it, then the prize is huge. The rainforests are our very own life-support systems and we are on the verge of switching them off."
He adds: Rainforests are crucial for our survival - but they are in severe danger
Charles has joined forces with Britain's The Sun newspaper to produce a poster to teach children about climate change and saving the planet.
On the poster, the 60-year-old royal explains how rainforests are destroyed - by fire, which releases potentially damaging carbon dioxide into the air - before urging people to "value the forests for the services they provide to us and then pay for them."
He adds: "Rainforests are crucial for our survival - but they are in severe danger. Please join me in trying to save them - for the sake of our children and grandchildren."
