Four teenagers who tried to gatecrash the 60th birthday party of Britain's Prince Charles have been arrested.
The youths - three aged 17 and one who was 16 - were caught trespassing on the prince's Highgrove estate in Gloucestershire in the early hours of Sunday morning (16.11.08).
A spokesman for Clarence House said: "No-one actually got into the party - there was a trigger of an alarm on the estate. It is a matter for the local police."
Charles spent Saturday evening (15.11.08) celebrating his birthday with a dinner party attended by family and friends, including many celebrity guests such as Stephen Fry, Sir David Frost, Dame Judi Dench and Joanna Lumley. Singer Rod Stewart performed at the bash.

The boys were arrested at 2.45am - long after the party had ended - and police officers were keen to point out that at no point did they pose a threat to any of the partygoers.
A police statement said: "Two 17-year-old boys and a 16-year-old boy, all from Tetbury, and a 17-year-old boy from Badminton, were detained by police officers at approximately 2.45am.
"They have all been bailed to attend Stroud Police Station on Tuesday, 16 December."
