Spain's King Juan Carlos has met Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez for the first time since the pair fell out last year.
The men were involved in a heated row at a conference in Chile last November when Chavez accused former Spanish Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar of being a fascist.
The king said at the time: "Por que no te callas," which translates as, "why don't you shut up?"
Before this year's meeting, Chavez - who accused the king of being "impudent" and "arrogant" after the fight and threatened to review the business of all Spanish companies in Venezuela - said he would like to hug the king at the meeting as a sign of reconciliation, but is "not about to shut up".
Although they did not hug, the men shared smiles and a handshake when they met, before retiring for talks over breakfast at the king's summer house in Mallorca.
"Por que no te callas" became a phenomenon across the Spanish speaking world last year. It was the subject of many jokes and cartoons and was even emblazoned on T-shirts and turned into a ringtone.
