Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, has met with members of an animal welfare charity.
Camilla - the wife of Britain's Prince Charles - was a guest at Brooke Hospital for Animals' recent fundraising party in Scotland.
The charity - of which Camilla is president - specialises in the welfare of horses, donkeys and mules.
The royal - who is known as the Duchess of Rothesay when in Scotland - drew raffle tickets from the panniers of Porridge the donkey.
I would never forget the last time I saw him. We were all so worried.
She had met the animal four years previously when he fell and injured his leg.
She said: "I would never forget the last time I saw him. We were all so worried."
Mike Baker, chief executive of the Brooke, added: "Her enthusiasm for the Brooke comes from the heart - she loves horses and has a really good feel for what we do."
