27% want to have an affair
16% want to sleep with another woman

London, 26th February 2008: One in three British women fantasise about having sex with someone other than their partner, with almost the same amount wanting it to be a full-blown affair. Additionally 16% dream of having sex with another woman according to a study by Diva TV, the television channel that celebrates and reflects all that is important to the fairer sex.

The survey, which canvassed the opinion of over 1,100 British women, also found that 20% fantasise about telling their mother in law what they really think, whilst 8.5% would do away with the boss.

Maya Bhose, spokeswoman of Diva TV says: “We conducted this study to gain insight into the minds of British women and have used it to ensure our programming, which includes everything from the drama of The Bold and the Beautiful to the wisdom of Oprah, reflects the aspirations of our audience. These results show what fertile imaginations British women have.”

Maya continues: “Great television allows us to fulfil our fantasies through other people in a safe way. Whether the characters are fictional or the programme features real life stories, we enjoy sharing their journeys without any of the consequences ourselves.”

The study also showed that nearly one in ten women fantasise about starring in a porn movie whilst 4% of respondents want to send the kids to boarding school. Only 2% of women said that they fantasised about stealing their best friend’s partner.
