Noel Gallagher Eyes Bond Role....
Noel Gallagher hopes to follow in the footsteps of rocker Jack White and record the next Bond theme tune.
The Oasis star claims he has written some spare tracks which he deems suitable for the long-running superspy franchise.
He tells Nme, "The latest one that I wrote, I listened back to it thinking, 'F**king hell man! That'd make a f**king great Bond theme'. But it's called Freaky Teeth. Now, unless there's a James Bond film that comes out in the next ten years that's very, very psychedelic..."
Gallagher also slammed the movie's producers for hiring American artists White and Alicia Keys to record the theme for upcoming Bond movie Quantum of Solace.
He says, "It's a bit of a piss-take that the greatest British agent of all time has to be soundtracked by a bunch of f**king Americans."
Meanwhile in other news Oasis Debut New Album On The Streets Of New York British rockers Oasis debuted their forthcoming album in New York on Friday (12Sep08), by hiring street musicians to perform brand new tracks on the city's subway.
Bandmembers Liam and Noel Gallagher handed 30 local musical groups the sheet music for their new LP and paid them to take to the streets.
