‘Saved By The Bell’ star Dustin Diamond is selling t-shirts to try and stop his house being repossessed.
The actor - who played Screech Powers in the long-running US TV show - needs to raise $250,000 otherwise he will be kicked out of his two-storey home near Milwaukee.
Diamond, who is now a stand up comedian, explained: "If the public didn't care, I as an entertainer wouldn't have been a success."
He is now selling t-shirts with a photo of the actor holding a sign saying "Save My House" on the front, and the words "I paid $15.00 to save Screeech's house" on the back.
Diamond has had to add an extra ‘e’ to his characters name to get around copyright laws.
During an interview with US DJ Howard Stern last week, the 29-year-old explained: "I'm doing great with my comedy, but this is definitely a low point. Real life comes in and affects you."
