Ashlee Simpson has gone into labour, according to the latest U.S. reports.
The pop star was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Thursday (20Nov08).
The family are really excited and are waiting to meet the baby.
A family insider tells In Touch magazine, "The family are really excited and are waiting to meet the baby."
Simpson's sister Jessica recently admitted the pregnant pop star was desperate to become a first-time mum: "She's, like, trying to eat different salads to go into labour.".
