L'Appartement
Max (Vincent Cassel) has decided somewhat reluctantly to settle down and get
married, but then a chance sighting (or not?) of his great, lost love sends
him into a spin and sets off a whirlwind chain of events involving a
beautiful yet mysterious girl. Winner of the BAFTA for Best Foreign Film in
1998, L'Appartement was the directorial debut for Gilles Mimouni.
Orchestra Seats
Selected as France's Official Entry for a Best Foreign-Language Film Oscar,
'Orchestra Seats' centers around Jessica (Cecile de France) a beautiful
young woman from the provinces who comes to Paris and lands a job waiting
tables at a chic bistro on fabled Avenue Montaigne. Jessica's customers
include a popular TV actress (Valérie Lemercier) who is courting a major
Hollywood director (Sydney Pollack); a wealthy art collector (Claude
Brasseur); and an illustrious classical pianist (Albert Dupontel).
My Best Friend
Catherine refuses to believe that her business partner, the unlikeable
Francois (Daniel Auteuil, 'Hidden'), has a best friend, so she challenges
him to set up an introduction. Scrambling to find someone to pose as his
best pal, Francois enlists the services of a charming taxi driver (Boon) to
play the part.
I Do
Luis's happy existence is threatened when his mother and five sisters decide
it's time for him to marry. Luis hurriedly hatches a plan to find the

ever again.
