Prepare to take a leap forward in time as Season 5 of gripping teen drama, One Tree Hill is released on DVD on 6th October 2008, courtesy of Warner Home Video.

The complete fifth season picks up over four years on from the dramatic graduation finale of Season 4 and finds our heroes coping with the stresses of life and their careers after Tree Hill High.

As promised, Lucas (Chad Michael Murray), Nathan (James Lafferty) Peyton (Hilarie Burton) and Brooke Davis (Sophia Bush) meet up after their time apart and their reunion brings with it exciting and explosive consequences.

Haley (Bethany Joy Lenz) and Nathan still live in Tree Hill with their now 4 year old son, James Lucas Scott (Jackson Brundage). Haley is a teacher at Tree Hill High, while Nathan’s dreams of being an NBA star have crumbled after a severe accident resulting in a heavy drinking habit.

Peyton has just quit her job in the record industry and Brooke is living in New York after her multi-million dollar clothing line, ‘Clothes Over Bros’, has given her a successful career in fashion design – but both of them agree to return to Tree Hill and re-capture the happiness of youth.

Lucas comes back to Tree Hill with his new girlfriend, Lindsey (Michael McManus) to take a break from the busy life of being a writer.

It’s against this backdrop that the group dynamics begin to form once again, but not everything is as it once was. Some characters are familiar, others have radically changed. Some relationships have become stronger; others no longer exist.

The show’s powerful character stories continue to progress but there are new mysteries to unfold. What events have shaped the character’s complex lives during the interim period?

Old loves are rekindled and new ones discovered and as Lucas and Lindsey’s wedding day approaches it becomes apparent that their relationship might not be on solid ground.

She subsequently leaves him at the altar as the climactic series finale develops with Lucas making a life changing call offering marriage and a new start in Las Vegas to one of his loves. But which one will be receiving the call…
