First off, I don't think these typed up lengths are very accurate, because as I just wrote in another post, different people are likely to have different screen resolutions. On my screen resolution [1600x1200], I put a ruler up against this graphic and it literally showed up to be 3.2" in length, which based on what you said about your size, doesn't seem correct. I think it would be better to post a picture of an object, or a rough sketch of a penis [I don't mean to be crude here], and make sure it's measured to your exact size or close to it, and show it next to a soda can so people can get a good visual understanding and comparison of it.

Now, talking to one of his recent girlfriends before they had sex, she had told me in private that she preferred guys that were at least 8 inches in length. However, my ex-boyfriend told me that when they made love, she had apparent discomfort accepting his length despite how well lubricated she was and the amount of foreplay they engaged in. I am almost an inch above her preferred "8 inches", but when she saw my erection she was rather shocked, and said that she thought mine was huge. I asked her to *guess* my size, and she guessed 10 inches. After that I let her measure it, and the ruler showed about 8.4"-8.5" in length [it wasn't a full erection, because I guess I can't keep an erection with no real stimulation around since she was female]. Even though it wasn't full length, she said that it was definitely something that she'd be intimidated to allow inside her in bed, though I told her that a man is more than just his penis, and that she should keep an open mind with her lovers, but I digress.
Anyways, I wanted to note this because this is an example of how I think women may not have a real grasp on what "8 inches" actually is, unless they do take the time to measure it for themselves instead of taking their man's word on it. I've spoken to a lot of women about this, and I'm starting to notice this same trend here.
Are women actually measuring their lovers? Or are most of you taking your lover's word for it? Or are you just taking a rough estimation of how long it is based on how it looks? Remember that, many things can alter how big a penis looks. Things like how thick it is, how big his balls are, how low his ballsack hangs down, how "wide" he is in terms of body/waist, how heavy or slim he is, how tall he is, etc. A combination of these things can actually affect the look of a penis and make it look an inch longer or shorter than it actually is. Just something to think about.
It's just my personal experience, but I think I'm inclined to believe it.

Most women do tend to have poor spacial awareness and sense of sizes - and this often shows in them having poor notions of actual lengths and distances - just ask a woman to hold her hands about
8"/20.32 cm apart and then measure it. It will probably be more like 5 - 6" in reality !!!
Therefore, when I hear so many claiming they would prefer 8" or 9"
I tend to knock about a third off those fantasies - so the reality is that the majority of these fantasists are being satisfied by 5 - 6", anyways, or
just over the actual average size..
The middle 80 - 90% of men probably don't have too much to bother about, here - it's the extremes on both sides of the bell curve that will have problems finding the right woman.
