Iceland is beautiful. I spent a month there some years ago and visited almost the entire island and my advice would be to do a tour as you will see so much more.

I've heard that Iceland is quite boring. Is this true? There's a festival on there every October called Iceland airwaves which is supposed to be good, but I've heard that apart from October time of year, there isn't much to do.

Personally I'd like to go, I'd especially like to spend the day in the Blue Lagoon where you relax in the hot springs....!

If you are into open spaces, mountains, amazing scenary, huge waterfalls, hot springs, thermal geisers, active volcanoes, and a new culture then Island has an awful lot to offer.

Ibiza it is not, but its one of those must see places.
