Santa summit

4 weeks ago 26th Jul 13:15

Santas and Elves from around the world have held their annual summit in Denmark.

Despite Christmas still being nearly six months away, the 51st international convention was held at the Bakken amusement park, north of Copenhagen.

Over 150 people attended the summit - which had a continuing debate about the true date for Father Christmas to pop down the chimney atop the agenda. Santas also debated diet, after fears many Father Christmases are getting too portly to fit down chimneys.

Other activities included a bike tour of Copenhagen harbour by Santas dressed in full costume, a parade through the city and an attempt to set the record for the largest possible number of Father Christmases hula-hooping in unison.
